A letter to Tulsa from Mayor Kathy Taylor
Greater Tulsa Reporter Newspapers
Below is a letter from Mayor Taylor to the City of Tulsa explaining her decision After careful thought I have made the decision not to seek another term as Mayor. Because of the serious budget and economic challenges we are facing the next 6 months are going to be pivotal and frankly very difficult for our City. Therefore I have decided to spend the next 6 months running this city- and not running for Mayor. Tough decisions will have to be made that may not make me Tulsa’s most popular Mayor but they will be fiscally responsible- and they will help secure Tulsa’s future.
