Hardesty Sports Complex. Lawrence pitched her second straight complete game shutout and third in her last four starts striking out seven batters and walking only two to earn her 13th win of the season and improve to 13-4. She scattered five hits through seven innings and the Golden Hurricane (29-15) allowed just one runner past second base in the contest never allowing the Jayhawks to pose a real threat to score. Freshman second baseman Skylar Swanson provided the spark in Tulsa’s three-run fifth by smashing a leadoff home run to left center.

District Judge Tom Gillert indicated Tuesday that he plans to announce his resentencing decision for Carlis Ball on April 29. With the agreement of attorneys Gillert will review transcripts of testimony of some witnesses who testified at Ball?s 2006 trial. The judge also will review court exhibits including photographs that relate to that testimony.
